He has held leadership roles at Dun & Bradstreet, Oxford Economics, the Economist Intelligence Unit, and leading commodities house CRU Group. He has led macroeconomic analysis, forecasting, scenario design, and sovereign risk analysis across advanced and emerging markets.​

He has advised boards and senior leadership teams at some of the world's largest financial institutions, energy companies, and technology multinationals on strategy, market positioning, and investment under uncertainty.

Grant founded BlackPoint to provide a sharper, more independent alternative to consensus macro analysis - direct, high-conviction and calibrated to what clients actually need to know. He is a regular executive-level presenter and media commentator on macro and geopolitical risk, and holds an MSc in Economics.
